Kids can hunt for eggs April 19 in Mundelein

Children ages 2 to 7 are invited to a free Egg Hunt Egg-Stravaganza at 10 a.m. Friday, April 19, at Community Park, 1401 N. Midlothian Road, Mundelein. Ten thousand colorful plastic eggs will be available for collecting by kids youngest first, in 15-minute intervals. A mini petting zoo will be offered. Registration is not required. Kids ages 8 to 11 can participate in the Flashlight Egg Scramble from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at the Dunbar Recreation Center, 888 Dunbar Road. A pizza party will follow. Cost is $12 for Mundelein residents, $15 nonresidents. Register by April 11 at www.mundeleinparks.org/egghunt2019 or in person at the Community Center. Call (847) 388-5430.
