Electronics recycling to resume in Mount Prospect April 3

Mount Prospect's Electronic Recycling Drop-Off will reopen Wednesday, April 3, and will be open from 10 a.m. to noon every Wednesday at the Public Works facility, 1700 W. Central Road, until the last week of October.

The drop off is available to Mount Prospect residents and residents of communities belonging to the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County.

Items for recycling will only be accepted during the designated times.

Not all electronic items will be accepted. Please review the Electronics Recycling Acceptable Items list available at www.mountprospect.org to see if your item will be accepted. If you do not find your electronic item listed as acceptable, please consult the SWANCC Green Pages (www.swancc.org) for alternative recycling options.
