Block party includes plenty of family fun in Mundelein

Everything from live reptiles and magic tricks to health services and home remodelers was on display Saturday at the Extreme Block Party & Taste of the Towns.

The event at the Doubletree Hotel in Mundelein was sponsored by the GLMV Chamber of Commerce representing Green Oaks, Mundelein, Libertyville and Vernon Hills.

The entertainment included magician Dennis Christie, the Kirk Players community theater performed and Dave DiNaso's Traveling World of Reptiles. Dozens of vendors also handed out freebies, hoping for new customers and clients.
