Q. What are the most important issues facing Streamwood and how do you intend to address them?

Cecille: Improving Irving Park Road to improve traffic flow between Bartlett Road and Madison Drive.

Installing two community events signs on Irving Park Road, to improve information and transparency to our residents.

Make plans for replacing the 55-year-old #1 fire station.

Q. What makes you the best candidate for the job?

Cecille: Thirty-two years of experience, a willingness to better our community and work with others to get results.

Working with businesses and residents to improve relationships.

Q. Describe your leadership style and explain how you think that will be effective in producing actions and decisions with your village board.

Cecille: My leadership style leans toward the democratic style, listening to all sides before making a comment or decision. My actions and input will make other trustees listen and collaborate to a concluison.

Q. How would you describe the condition of Streamwood's budget, and what are the most important specific actions the village should take to assure providing the level of services people want?

Cecille: Our 2019 budget is balanced, with no new taxes or fees. The board focus is on keeping taxes low.

We keep the streets plowed in the winter, one of the best in the suburbs and spend 1.5 million a year to repair or repair our streets.

Cecille: Add more street lights to enhance safety in our community.
