Bilingual college fair

Mundelein, Wauconda and Round Lake high schools will host the Access College Fair, the second annual bilingual college fair in Lake County on Wednesday, April 10, 6 to 8 p.m., in the Mundelein High School main gym, 1350 W. Hawley St., Mundelein. Thirty to 40 college representatives who are fluent in English and Spanish will participate. Students from all school districts in Lake County and surrounding areas are welcome to attend. The representatives will speak with students and their families about the college application process and help them learn about the opportunities to continue their education. Bilingual financial aid overview sessions will be hosted by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC). The English presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Spanish presentation at 7 p.m. Students are encouraged to register at StriveFair.com. Registration is not required but it will allow students to connect and share and receive information from the colleges in attendance.
