Documentary on Illinois prairies screening in Schaumburg March 11

The Schaumburg Township Historical Society on Monday will screen an hourlong documentary entitled "Prairie Tides," which chronicles the Illinois and Michigan Canal and the "tides" of change across the Illinois prairies.

The screening is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 11, in the Rasmussen Room North on the second floor of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

The screening will immediately follow the historical society's regular business meeting for the month of March that begins at 7 p.m.
