Register for Schaumburg's Citizen Police Academy
Get to know the Schaumburg Police Department better by participating in the spring Citizen Police Academy. Classes will be held Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8:30 p.m. beginning Feb. 27 and running for 10 weeks.
Experience various aspects of the job including patrol, investigations, support services and training.
The experience is not limited to classroom lectures alone. Participants will have an opportunity to experience a patrol ride-along, firearms safety training on the range, and conduct mock traffic stops.
