Police say a 30-year-old man from Woodridge had his car stolen at gunpoint around 4:30 p.m. on the 800 block of Hillcrest Avenue.

The victim was pulling up to a friend's home when he said he was approached by a light-skinned black man wearing a purple hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes. The man demanded the victim's keys while showing a silver handgun.

The suspect then fled in the victim's 2017 Cadillac coupe. The vehicle was located about a half-hour later near I-290 and Lexington in Chicago.
