Wheaton residents asked to be on alert for man who fled police

Authorities in Wheaton asked the public to be on alert for a man they say is suspected of committing fraud.
According to a post on the City of Wheaton Facebook page Tuesday afternoon, a man who was captured on camera inside a business near Naperville Road and Elm Street ran away from officers who were trying to arrest him.
The man was wearing a wearing a dark hoodie, dark jacket and Philadelphia Eagles hat.
A spokesman for Wheaton Police did not return calls for comment on the man's whereabouts Tuesday evening.
