District 73 moves to fill school board vacancy
Hawthorn Elementary District 73 is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the school board through 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10. Board member Julie Simpson resigned after being elected to the Lake County Board. Applications will be reviewed by the board, which may invite prospective candidates for interviews to be conducted during a closed meeting. Call (847) 990-4200.
