Lake County Model Railroad Club hosts open house

Train enthusiasts got a chance to see the Lake County Model Railroad Club's detailed set up Saturday during the club's fall open house.

The club operates an HO scale permanent operating model railroad in a 30- by 60-foot room occupying more than 1,400 square feet in its headquarters at 107 S. Main St., Wauconda. The free open house continues Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
