DuPage sheriff searching for missing Hinsdale South student

The DuPage County sheriff is asking for help with the search for a missing Hinsdale South High School student.

Breanna Irizarry, 15, of unincorporated DuPage County near Willowbrook has been missing since 8 a.m. Oct. 1. Officials say she was last seen in the area of Honeysuckle Rose and Lilac lanes at that time.

Breanna was last seen wearing blue jeans with an unknown color shirt, carrying a school bag. Breanna is approximately 6 feet tall, weighs 200 lbs. and has long braided hair.

Police do not believe she has a cellphone, and her family is unaware of any friends in the area. Police say Breanna moved from Forest Park about a year and a half ago and may still have contacts in that area.

Anyone who knows where Breanna is should call the DuPage County sheriff's office at (630) 407-2400.
