Schaumburg Prairie Center hosts Harmonic Brass Sept. 29

The Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts welcomes Harmonic Brass at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29.

Since 1991, Harmonic Brass has been renowned for a big elegant brass sound that's been heard around the world, including at New York's Carnegie Hall, Seoul Arts Center, and Leipzig Gewandhaus.

The ensemble switches from serious musical works to bubbly lighthearted fare, delivering a performance that combines high standards of musicianship with wit, class and, at times, silliness.

Tickets for Harmonic Brass of Munich are $26 ($24 for seniors and students) and can be purchased online at prairiecenter.org or by calling (847) 895-3600.

The Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts is at 201 Schaumburg Court in Schaumburg.

This program is sponsored by WDCB 90.9 Listener Supported Radio.
