Two people suffered nonlife-threatening injuries in a four-vehicle chain-reaction crash Tuesday morning in Schaumburg, police said.

The crash occurred about 10:20 a.m. when a car traveling south on Roselle Road collided with the rear end of a car stopped for a red light at Weathersfield Way.

The driver of the car that started the accident, an 84-year-old Schaumburg woman, was cited for failure to yield, police said.

One person was taken from the scene to a hospital for treatment, while another was treated at the scene, according to police.
