DuPage sheriff searching for package thief
DuPage County sheriff's deputies are hoping neighbors can help them capture a thief who stole a box containing baby shower gifts from the porch of a home near Naperville.
Authorities said a homeowner's security camera caught a white man wearing a blue plaid shirt and sunglasses removing the box from the porch around 4 p.m. March 1 near the intersection of Lacey Avenue and Karns Road.
In addition, another victim in the same neighborhood reported packages of children's toys taken from their porch around the same time.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any information is asked to call the sheriff's office at (630) 407-2400.
