Wauconda-area residents -- and Santa Claus -- turned out Saturday for the annual Holiday Walk and a tree lighting ceremony.
They enjoyed crafts, face painting, a gingerbread-house contest and other activities along Main Street in downtown Wauconda before walking north to the Wauconda Park District headquarters for the unveiling of the town's Christmas tree.
