Holiday walk in Wauconda on Saturday
Wauconda's annual holiday walk on Main Street and Christmas tree-lighting ceremony will be Saturday. Activities will run from 2 to 8 p.m. on Main Street between Route 176 and Bangs Street and at the Wauconda Park District headquarters, 600 N. Main St. A tree-decorating contest, face painting, snowman-building and fireworks are among the planned activities. Admission is free. For more, call (847) 526-5580.
