Bone marrow drive at Harper College

The Harper College Student Nurses' Association and Be The Match will hold a bone marrow donor registry drive next week in support of classmate Emily Kmiecik, a third-semester nursing student battling Leukemia.

The drive will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, at the college's Avante Center concourse (Building Z), 1200 W. Algonquin Road in Palatine. Parking is available in lot 3.

Individuals between the ages of 18 and 44 are eligible to participate, and there is no cost. The initial screening is a cheek swab. For more information, visit bethematch.org.
