Your images: How to enter
Think your photo could win a prize?
We think there's an army of amateur photographers in the Northwest suburbs, eager to show off their pictures.
We'll pick our favorites and showcase three finalists each Saturday. The monthly winner will be published the first Friday of the month, and will receive $150 worth of free framing from the Great Frame Up in Schaumburg.
The contest is limited to Northwest suburban residents in the Daily Herald readership area.
Send your photos by e-mail in a jpeg format with at least 300 dpi resolution, no bigger than 10 inches, to yourimages@dailyherald.com.
We'll need:
• Contact information: Your name, address and phone number
• Photo description: When and where the photo was taken; what's in it.
Put "photo contest" in the subject line of the e-mail.
Photos received by Sunday will be considered for Saturday publication. Only one photo a week per photographer, but you can enter as many weeks as you'd like.
