Neighbors in the news: Park Ridge lawyer named to Dean's Advisory Council at Loyola
• Park Ridge resident Jim Argionis, a member of Cozen O'Connor Commercial Litigation practice, was appointed to serve a three-year term on the Dean's Advisory Council at Loyola University Chicago's College of Arts and Sciences.
The DAC is comprised of Loyola University Chicago alumni and friends who provide advice and feedback to the dean and support college initiatives designed to enhance the quality and reputation of the College of Arts and Sciences, participate in programming and events, including mentoring students, and act as ambassadors for the dean and advocates for the college.
Argionis, who received both his undergraduate and law degrees at Loyola University Chicago, has extensive experience and an impressive record of success as a business trial lawyer at Cozen O'Connor.
He has also distinguished himself through his efforts in community service. In 2022, he received the Sgt. Karen Lader Memorial Good Citizen Award from Maine Township and, in 2019, Park Ridge recognized him with a Community Star Award from its Chamber of Commerce.
In addition, Argionis serves as the longtime chairman of the Illinois Department of Employment Security Advisory Board, and has previously served as chairman of Park Ridge's Planning and Zoning Commission and its O'Hare Airport Commission.

Mundelein native Bryce T. Hensley was named a partner at Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, a national, Chicago-based, personal injury law firm.
Hensley helps manage the firm's complex litigation group, representing individuals and classes of victims of toxic exposures, product defects, civil rights violations, automobile accidents and other catastrophic personal injuries and wrongful death.

He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013, and his juris doctor, with magna cum laude honors, from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2017.
He also earned a Mass-Tort MDL Certificate from Duke Law School's Bolch Judicial Institute in 2020.

Endocrinologist Dr. Ammara Aziz has joined the Medical Group at Northwest Community Healthcare, seeing patients at 5999 New Wilke Road in Rolling Meadows and 1051 W. Rand Road in Arlington Heights.
Dr. Aziz graduated from medical school at Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her residency in internal medicine at St. Francis Hospital and her fellowship in endocrinology at the University of Oklahoma Health Center.
She was an assistant professor in clinical medicine, in the division of Endocrinology, at Indiana University School of Medicine for four years.
Dr. Aziz is board certified in internal medicine and in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. She is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist. She is also fluent in Urdu as well as English.
