No more tickets required for Wheaton Municipal Band concerts

The Wheaton Municipal Band has removed a reservation system for free concerts in Memorial Park now that the state has lifted most pandemic restrictions.

Tickets were required when the band opened its summer season last week under the baton of longtime conductor Bruce Moss. Fans of the band won't have to book tickets online as the season continues.

Performances begin 7:30 p.m. Thursdays in the new band shell at Memorial Park. The season runs through Aug. 5.
