I prepared Spaghetti Carbonara with Broccolini and a side of Lemon Royal Fillet Mackerel and Hemp Seed Pate on Rustic Toast.
The spaghetti and mackerel brought back memories of my summer exchange in the French Riviera; having dinner at a seaside restaurant admiring the sunset.
I was expecting a product from King Oscar, but I had no clue how to use the hemp seeds.
Using the olive oil from a can of Lemon Royal Fillet Mackerel to saute the broccolini and pancetta added a Mediterranean, lemony flavor to the Spaghetti Carbonara.
Taste testers, co-workers and friends are key to decide which dish to make. Their feedback is always valuable.
I was surprised the Lemon Royal Filet Mackerel from King Oscar was delicious.
My family likes my version of Spaghetti Carbonara, so it was fun to incorporate new ingredients such as broccolini and the olive oil lemony flavor.
