Step back in time with Rat Pack Supper Club in Schaumburg

Wear your most stylish fedora and pearls for a chic evening filled with the timeless sounds of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin at Schaumburg Park District's Rat Pack Supper Club.

The event is set for 5 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

Guests will experience a sense of nostalgia as they enter the gymnasium, which will be transformed into a 1950s and '60s Las Vegas supper club, paying tribute to the era of the original Rat Pack and the Sands Hotel and Casino, where many of their performances took place.

The preshow will feature performances from Schaumburg Park District's Bravo Show Choir and Expressions/Charmed Dance Companies, followed by The Chicago Rat Pack, a tribute band that will perform fan favorites from that era.

A seated dinner, catered by Beef Villa, is included in the ticket price and will include broasted chicken, mostaccioli, salad, bread and butter, and dessert. A wine and beer cash bar will be available.

"Music lovers can turn back the clock and find themselves in a Vegas-style club during the era of the Rat Pack - without a plane or a time machine," said Beth Waller, cultural arts supervisor. "The Chicago Rat Pack always puts on an energy-packed performance that you won't want to miss. Purchase your tickets and come live it up with us for a spectacular evening of food and entertainment."

Guests must be 13 years or older to attend. Cost is $49 per person for standard seating.
