Letter: Don't believe mainstream media

I enjoy reading "Your Views" daily. I believe it is a good place to have our views heard. Please hear mine.

Am I the only one that sees the truth in how things are presented to us by the mainstream media? In the article titled "Pritzker calls for federal law, protests" May 12, the caption reads as the governor is visiting the "Reproductive Health Services of Planned Parenthood." From that, I would assume they are taking great care in producing a healthy baby and are helping plan the birth?

The text also reads "to ensure abortion remains widely accessible." That sounds gruesome. What will they do with the remains?

And finally, "basic rights of women to control their own bodies are about to be stripped away." I'll let you use your imagination.

I believe if you take the exact opposite of what mainstream American media has to say, you'd be a lot closer to the truth.
