Remember governor's 'gifts' at ballot box

As a radical leftist, our wonderful governor has a lot to be proud of. We now have the second-highest gas tax in the country, We will be paying almost $4 in tax for every 10 gallons of gas we buy. He really stuck it to the people of Cook County by allowing Cook County municipalities to add an additional 3% to their gas tax.

We have one of the highest property taxes in the country. Baby murder is now legal. Substance abuse is now legal through the legalization of marijuana. He is making it easier for those addicted to gambling to squander their money by building new casinos.Felons in prison can now vote. Instead of just males and females in our state, we now have a new gender called "other." Illinois is now a Sanctuary State. License plate fees are now $199.

Let's hope that Illinois voters turn down his proposal to go from a flat rate to a progressive income tax. By assessing a punitive income tax rate on the job producers and raising the minimum wage to $15 he is finalizing the destruction of an already weakened business climate.

He has done nothing to reduce government costs and expenses. To add insult to injury, legislators gave themselves a 2.5% salary raise, a 25% and 33% increase in mileage and per diem.
