Important points missing from editorial

First of all, I wish to preface my remarks by stating that I am not a great fan of President Donald Trump. I find him as a brash, egotistic and braggart individual.

However, I was disappointed in your editorial of May 10 concerning his abuse of power. You failed to mention some critical ideas related to the release of the complete unredacted Mueller Report to the public.

By federal requirements, the attorney general is forbidden to make available the portion of the report involving grand jury testimony.

Barr allowed a dozen members of Congress, six Democrats and six Republicans to review the version of the report that does include classified information, materials related to ongoing investigations and information that could damage reputations of individuals not charged with crimes. None of the six Democrats - including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler and Senate Judiciary member Diane Feinstein - bothered to review the information that they claim is so critical.

Based on this, I can only conclude that Nadler's demand for the release of the unredacted report is an effort of the Democrats to continue further attempts to embarrass Attorney General Barr and to drag this matter forward for political purposes.

If there is any abuse in this matter, it should be directed to Chairman Nadler.

Please, in the future, provide all the critical facts in your editorials where you are publishing judgments on such critical matters.
