Saternus could be change agent District 211 needs

Matthew Saternus is running for a seat on the school board in District 211. He's an Illinois native, a graduate of Duke University, a former high school teacher and firefighter. He lives in Hoffman Estates with his wife and two pre-teenage daughters.

Matt is optimistic about the future of this country, realizing that the prerequisite for success lies in education in every phase of one's life, ultimately convinced that it starts with our children today - and our nation's leaders tomorrow.

He intends to propose affordable down-to-earth board policies that confront past pie-in-the-sky programs that went nowhere. Affordability? How do we tabulate the cost against such an indispensable, invaluable investment? He believes we need to prepare students for the best education money can buy to prepare for the uncertainty just ahead in a changing world.

Furthermore, Matt feels it's time to throw out old stratagems that never worked, shortsighted schemes now outmoded by new challenges that threaten the very existence of the integral family today!

No, he's not a revolutionary but potentially a game-changer. His election to the school board could be just be the prescription for an ailing America.
