Collister-Lazzari for D220 school board

Please support Leah Collister-Lazzari for the District 220 school board.

Leah is passionate about ensuring we provide the highest quality educational experience for the children in District 220. She has been involved at every level as a parent, from grade school through high school, serving on a wide variety of committees in the schools and in the district, with major impact on both students and school programs.

She has faithfully attended school board meetings and other district meetings of interest, keeping abreast of developments affecting our teachers, students and schools. Leah's experience as an attorney, real estate broker and business owner gives her a unique set of skills, which I believe would greatly benefit the school board should she be elected. Her analytical skills as an attorney would be very useful in reviewing and negotiating district contracts.

Additionally, Leah and her husband own and manage several apartment buildings in Chicago and Michigan. As a result, she has extensive experience working with a variety of contractors and managing issues with building maintenance and renovations. For this reason, I believe that her experience as a business owner and a real estate broker would be extremely useful in determining not only which buildings would benefit the most from the proposed Blueprint 220 plans, but also which building improvements would offer the best return on the investment for our taxpayers.

I believe she would make an informed, caring and fiscally responsible school board member. Please vote for Leah Collister-Lazzari on April 2!
