During election season, I am often asked which candidates I support, and why.

I strongly support Tom Hartwell for Circuit Court Judge in the 16th Judicial Circuit. As for the why, Tom Hartwell meets every professional requirement to be a successful judge and is the only candidate recommended by the Kane County Bar Association.

However, Tom will bring so much more to the bench.

Tom Hartwell is a man with unquestionable character, who consistently demonstrates moral courage and integrity. In the courtroom, I am confident that Tom will apply the law fairly and with compassion because that is the essence of his nature. Character, courage, integrity and compassion are traits I cherish in my friends. They are also some of the qualities that will help make Tom Hartwell an outstanding Circuit Court Judge.
