The farce goes on

Spending many hours and millions of dollars, the Senate Judiciary Committee continues to interrogate Judge Kavanaugh in an attempt to either embarrass and discredit him (Democrats) or laud his character and accomplishments (Republicans).

All the while, the outcome has been predestined. The Committee will vote on partisan lines to move his nomination to the full Senate where he will (likely) be confirmed by a purely partisan vote. All of this after (almost) every Democratic senator vowed to vote against the nominee even before President Donald Trump offered his name.

Laughable … except it's not funny.
