Cheering merit standards

Halleluia! Halleluia!

Finally a return to merit-based admissions standards. No more wait lists, remedial classes or lowered standards. The U.S. can now compete with the rest of the world's higher education institutions. The percentage of our college graduates that can actually perform well in their specialties is much lower than those graduates from other country's institutions. Since when did one's ethnicity affect the ability to gain skills, knowledge or competency in work?

Ethnic diversity is irrelevant in providing those attributes to individuals.
