Trump bringing back low-cost insurance option
So what's the rub? Having high-deductible, low(er) premium health insurance is good for almost everyone. Known as "catastrophic" coverage it was widely available before Mr. Obama and the liberals decided we needed to further "distribute wealth" by eliminating the option and implementing the personal mandate and all its trappings. (including maternity benefits and pediatric dental care for everyone, including seniors like us).
Consumers should be able to shop for health care insurance just like they shop for TVs and cars. Not everyone wants to drive a Cadillac and not everyone wants to watch a 12" black and white TV, but for those who do, those options should be and are available. What business is it of the government to tell me which car to drive or which TV to watch?
I applaud President Donald Trump's effort to bring back low-cost catastrophic insurance plans for those who see it as a product that works for them.
