Shop local handmade goods at Artisan Collective Batavia Oct. 17

On Saturday, Oct. 17, join the Artisan Collective Batavia for the last outdoor market this season.

During these times, small businesses and entrepreneurs need your help. Find holiday gifts or treasures at the Artisan Collective and keep as much of your holiday spending near home.

The Artisan Collective offers the chance to shop local handmade goods during the Batavia Farmers Market on the every third Saturday from June to October. The Batavia Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays through Oct. 31.

Artisans feature handcrafted items such as soap, candles, jewelry, art and more. The 2020 vendors include: Favour Jewelry, Republic Road, Lydia's Lovelies, Hemp Club Jewelry + Boho Earth Headbands, Miniature Gardens Bee & Dee, The Picker Sisters, Crystal Ship Jewelry, TodaysETC,

A Girl & Her Pug Woodworks, ChickaDee Clays, Bumblebee Cottage, Hex Poetry Apothecary, Ursula Naturals, Uneek, Brigette Burgman Photography, DemergeCo, Kittens of Industry, Little Lotus Elixirs, PaperPatty, and Due South Design.

The Artisan Collective is located off North River Street by the peace bridge.

Oct. 15 is the deadline for signing for the annual Winterfest Art Market.

The three-day art and fine craft sale is held in collaboration with Artisan Collective Batavia and Batavia MainStreet.

If you are interested in signing up, visit downtownbatavia.com/winterfest-art-market/ to register. The fee is $200 for all three days. All profits go toward the Artisan Collective & Batavia MainStreet to fund downtown events and programming.

The Batavia Farmers Market is also taking applications for the Indoor Market. Thanks to generous partnership with BEI Properties, the indoor market is moving to 160 First St. They are collaborating with Water Street Studios.
