New senior housing complex under construction in Mount Prospect
Work is underway on a new 100-unit assisted living and memory care housing development near the corner of Golf and Elmhurst roads in Mount Prospect.
The 78,000-square-foot Mount Prospect Senior Living will feature studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, according to an announcement Tuesday from California-based ISL Ventures.
"We have been excited about this project since the first time we laid eyes on Mount Prospect," Sue Farrow, founder and owner of ISL, said in the announcement. "We are so pleased to be able to bring this community and all of its first-class services to the seniors in Mount Prospect and surrounding areas that will allow them to continue to be close to friends and family."
Developers said the community will features amenities including formal and casual dining spaces, a bistro, salon and spa, courtyards, outdoor spaces with walking paths and gardening, a dog park, a gym and a theater.
The project is currently under construction with a projected opening of February 2021. A leasing office will be opening in July.
