Meet Chicago Northwest encourages restaurant takeout Tuesday
Meet Chicago Northwest, the tourism and visitors bureau for the Northwest suburbs, is encouraging support for local restaurants on Tuesday - deemed The Great American Takeout Day.
To support these eateries through the downturn in business caused by social restrictions during the COVID-19 outbreak, the bureau is urging people to plan takeout or delivery meals on Tuesday.
Meet Chicago Northwest has compiled a list of its restaurant partners on its website at chicagonorthwest.com where you can either purchase online gift cards or order food for The Great American Takeout Day.
