Hi-Five Sports Zone opens in Hawthorn Mall

VERNON HILLS - Hawthorn Mall announced the addition of Hi-Five Sports Zone, an indoor youth sports entertainment complex. The 8,000-square-foot Hi-Five Sports Zone is located near Macy's on the second floor. Hi-Five Sports Zone will host a grand opening celebration from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 22, which is free and open to the public.

Hi-Five Sports Zone is an indoor sports facility with a basketball court and turf field, created to foster a passion for team sports by implementing a fun, positive and safe program in a family-convenient location. The entire facility is dedicated to the health and well-being of children, and the complex has been designed to accommodate younger children with appropriately sized fields and hoops, and even a friendly mascot.

Hi-Five Sports Zone teaches children the value of being part of a team and the importance of sportsmanship through a wide array of activities from summer and break-long camps to hoop clinics, soccer classes, flag football, T-ball, soccer, after-school clubs, open-gym play days and even sports-focused birthday parties.
