Woodfield to add Versona, Sally Beauty to store line up

Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg announced value-focused fashion boutique Versona will open its first Illinois store in the mall in April.

Versona, owned by North Carolina-based Cato Corp., offers women's apparel, jewelry and accessories at value prices. Committed to high quality fashions, the store carries jewelry, handbags, shoes and trending fashion items.

The store, which will be located in the mall's middle level near Macy's, will be the latest in Cato Corp.'s fashion portfolio, which includes Cato, It's Fashion/It's Fashion Metro and Versona stores. Overall, Cato Corp. has approximately 1,375 stores in 33 states and generates more than $950 million in sales, according to the Cato Corp. website.

"Fashion-conscious shoppers know they're going to find the market's widest selection at Woodfield Mall, from luxury brands to affordable fashion," said Woodfield Mall General Manager Laurie Van Dalen. "Versona is a perfect fit for our trend-forward customer who will take risks with her fashion, but not her budget."

Woodfield officials also said beauty supply retailer Sally Beauty will open later this month in the mall's lower level Nordstrom wing, across from Victoria's Secret.
