EN Engineering acquires Colorado firm QC Data

WARRENVILLE - Utility services firm EN Engineering said it has acquired QC Data, an intelligent infrastructure services firm headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

Terms of the acquisition were not announced.

Established in 1977, QC Data is a provider of engineering design and data services. The firm has more than 200 employees across the United States, with managers averaging 25 years of industry experience. EN Engineering officials said it brings a comprehensive portfolio including work programs for leading energy, utility, telecommunication, and engineering contracting organizations.

"We view the addition of QC Data as an ideal partnership as we continue to seek ways to expand our utility and telecom services," said EN Engineering CEO Steve Knowles.

QC Data President Glen Helin called the acquisition "the perfect next step for our organization and for our continued growth and expansion."

EN Engineering provides engineering, consulting, and automation services to utilities, pipeline companies, and industrial customers. The company operates in key energy and manufacturing regions across the United States.
