LISLE -- Molex Inc. announced it will collaborate with logi.cals, a company that specializes in engineering software for industrial automation.

Molex and logi.cals will work together to develop a simple, efficient engineering environment as one of the main pillars for Molex's IAS4.0 end-to-end solution. The IAS4.0 platform encompasses multiple layers in IT, Edge, OT, engineering tools and operational applications.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
 

The European company's software is designed to streamline integration of control tailored to the machine, plant or enterprise. Leveraging Molex's experience in the industrial market, Molex Industrial Automation Solutions 4.0 provides a safe, secure open platform to enable machine builders and system integrators using Industry 4.0 technology in their products.

"By leveraging logi.cals software expertise, we have jointly developed the enhanced IAS4.0 solution offering safe and standard control in a distributed fashion along with engineering tools that create value for customers," said Riky Comini, director, industrial automation at Molex.
