Technology Center of DuPage celebrates students 'signing' for careers

ADDISON — Technology Center of DuPage, which offers DuPage County area high school juniors and seniors 20 career and technical education programs as part of their high school curriculum, recently participated in SkillsUSA National Signing Day sponsored by Klein Tools,

In a style similar to “National Signing Day” events for high school student athletes, 20 high school seniors at Technology Center of DuPage were recognized as they signed their “letters of intent” for a job offer, apprenticeship or advanced technical training.

SkillsUSA National Signing Day celebrated thousands of high school seniors across the country pursuing a career in the skilled trades. Technology Center of DuPage was one of approximately 300 schools across the U.S. participating in National Signing Day, which recognized over 2,500 students nationwide.

Our seniors should be very proud of everything they have accomplished at Technology Center of DuPage as they continue to further their education and training post-graduation. We wish them all the best as they prepare for their lifelong careers,” said Lauren Aramburu, college and career pathway specialist at Technology Center of DuPage.
