Assurance relocating headquarters in Schaumburg

Assurance, a large independent insurance brokerage firm, will relocate its headquarters to 20 N. Martingale Road in Schaumburg in 2019.

CBRE announced the 75,000-square-foot lease at Woodfield Preserve Office Center, on behalf of Zeller Realty Group. Assurance, with offices on Golf Road, next year will occupy a portion of the first floor and the entire sixth floor, which is the largest floor plate in the Schaumburg class A market, offering almost 52,000 square feet.

"Our organization's consistent growth over the past two decades has compelled us to continually look to the future," said Assurance COO Jackie Gould. "The move of our headquarters to Woodfield Preserve Office Center is an exciting step in our evolution. The quality of space and employee-friendly amenities will enable us to continue to attract top-tier talent and provide a vibrant environment where we can continue to grow and serve our clients."

Bill Elwood and Rob Graham of CBRE represented the owner, ZRG, in the transaction. Jesse Van Dyke of JLL represented Assurance.

"The significant upgrades at Woodfield Preserve were a big draw for Assurance," Elwood said. "These new amenities will allow the firm to further enhance its culture and provide top tier perks for its employees."

Assurance is among the largest and most awarded independent insurance brokerages in the United States. A "Top 50" insurance broker and repeated national and local "Best Place to Work" winner, Assurance creates value by minimizing risk and maximizing health for 6,000 businesses and individuals across the country.
