Ice Miller names new partner

Ice Miller said Reena Bajowala has been named a partner in the litigation and data security and privacy groups.

Bajowala's practice focuses matters, including information technology (software, cloud-based storage, call centers and data centers), class actions (ERISA, FLSA and consumer fraud) and data security and privacy. She regularly counsels and defends online and brick-and-mortar retailers, manufacturers, technology companies, automotive industry clients and government defense contractors in technology outsourcing, consumer and employment disputes.

"Reena has extensive experience litigating and counseling sophisticated companies," said Stephen Reynolds, Ice Miller partner and co-chair of the data security and privacy groups.

Officials from Ice Miller, with offices in Lisle, said Bajowala grew up in Glen Ellyn.

Reena advises sellers and buyers of IT services with respect to their rights under contract, tort, copyright, trade secret, privacy and trademark law. With a demonstrated ability to deal with the intricacies of class, collective and plan-wide litigation, Reena defends employers and service providers in federal actions involving the FLSA and ERISA. She is adept at dealing with issues arising from the Class Action Fairness Act, Multi-District Litigation and hybrid action procedures. She also works with companies in consumer fraud and deceptive practice litigation and investigations.
