Missner Group buys Glenview building

The Missner Group, headquartered in Des Plaines, announced the firm has purchased a building at 2323 Ravine Way in Glenview.

The purchase of the 45,000-square-foot single story precast flex building is part of a sale-lease-back with the current owner, DreamWorks Graphic Communications, a boutique printing company that specializes in high impact print collateral.

The building was constructed in 1999 and acquired by DreamWorks in 2014 at which time The Missner Group was retained to complete the building renovations. The property currently features 26-foot clear heights, four exterior truck docks and one grade drive-in door. Additionally, the building contains 13,000 square feet of office and executive space.

The property is situated on three acres in North Shore Corporate Park, a fully built out business park consisting of office, medical, research and industrial buildings.

"This acquisition strongly complements our firm's portfolio," said The Missner Group's Chief Executive Officer, Barry Missner. "With the North Suburban Sub Market showing low vacancy rates for assets such as these, and its proximity to a variety of tenant conveniences make for a highly desirable asset." Ed Adler, EVP of The Missner Group, led the acquisition for the firm. Larry Much of NAI Hiffman represented both the buyer and the seller in this transaction.
