Firehouse Subs now set to open Jan. 2

After slight delays, Firehouse Subs announced it is opening its Lake in the Hills location at 290 N. Randall Road on Jan. 2.

Cousins and business partners, Pinal Patel and Mayank Patel, are the owners of the new eatery known for serving premium meats and cheeses on a toasted sub roll.

The eatery was originally planned to open in the fall.

In addition to its signature subs, the restaurant offers a variety of catering options from sandwich and dessert platters to salads and snacks to fuel any occasion.

This is the first restaurant for the Patels', who signed a multiunit franchise agreement to develop four restaurants in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

Pinal and Mayank are dedicated to continuing Firehouse Subs' commitment to helping public safety organizations through Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, which has donated more than $859,500 in grants in the state of Illinois.

The Lake in the Hills Firehouse Subs restaurant is open seven days a week from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. This location will offer a separate to-go station, along with new bagasse takeout packaging to provide convenience to guests.

Firehouse Subs, headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, offers small, medium and large hot specialty subs, including the No. 1 one selling Hook & Ladder sub, served with smoked turkey breast and Virginia honey ham smothered with Monterey Jack cheese.
