Eighth International Day of Yoga Free Outdoor Community Event at Vernon Township Peterson Park

You are cordially invited to join us with your family and friends for the free Eighth International Day of Yoga Event, as we observe the summer solstice with an outdoor yoga practice for the entire family at Vernon Township's Peterson Pool Park (16652 N Buffalo Grove Rd, Prairie View, IL 60069) on Sunday, June 19, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Celebrate Father's Day by practicing yoga with the dads in your families.

All levels of yoga practitioners and all ages are welcome.

Please bring your mat / chair, towel, and a water bottle. We'll practice some joints and glands exercises, sun salutations, deep stretches, relaxation, breathing, and laughter.

This is a FREE event for the community, co-hosted by VYAYAM, ICON SHAKTI, Vernon Township, Chinmaya Mission Yamunotri, HSS - Buffalo Grove, USKids4W, Sanjeevani, Longevity Foundation, and AIM for Seva.

Yoga practice will be led by Vidya Nahar, ERYT-500.

While the program is free for all, registration is mandatory.
