Christmas on the Fox Art and Craft Show:

The annual juried show features handmade items by more than 100 crafters from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 27-28, in Robinson Hall at the Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road, St. Charles. It includes Christmas floral and candies, jewelry, photography, paper crafts, apparel and accessories, folk art with holiday themes, handmade soap, wood signs and knitting. Marmion Christmas Craft Show:

This year's show will feature more than 200 crafters and vendors from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, at Marmion Academy's Regole Field House and Alumni Hall gym, 1000 Butterfield Road, Aurora; enter through doors 7 and 16. Enjoy lunch prepared by Belgio's Catering and freshly baked pies sold by the Flannigan Rifles Drill Team. A Bloody Mary & Mimosa Bar will be available on Sunday for those 21 and older. Dickens in Dundee Christmas Sale:

Dundee Township Historical Society will hold its Christmas sale during the Dickens in Dundee celebration from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 410 W. Christmas at the Farm:

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at Compass Lane Farm, 154 Roberts Road, Lake Barrington. A day of festive charm and celebration featuring 15 local artisans. It includes activities, snacks, and photo opportunities. Winterfest Art Market:

Artisan Collective and Batavia Main Street hosts local artisans for a weekend outdoor fine art and craft sale from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at the Water Street Studios, 160 S. Dec. 11

Cookie walk:

Join the 29th annual RCLPC Cookie Walk on Saturday, Dec. 11, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Ridgefield-Crystal Lake Presbyterian Church in Ridgefield. Grab a cookie box, then fill it with what is most appealing. It will be weighed in at $10 per pound. Proceeds will go to support the church and youth, CASA of McHenry County, and Home of the Sparrow. Jolly Vendor and Craft Fair:

Dec. 11 and 18

Art and Market:

Art and Market Aurora is back with four fall dates for holiday shopping. The Aurora Downtown group's indoor market features several local vendors at Society 57, 100 S. River St.

The market will feature both food and artisan vendors from 9 a.m. to noon on the following Saturday mornings: Nov. 20 and Dec. 11 and 18.

Art and Market Aurora will feature chocolate, candles, flowers, cookies, jewelry, baked goods, body oils, and more. The fall market will offer an increased selection of local artists and artisans for holiday shopping.

Visiting vendors include Biscocho's, Tin Shed Farm, Ursula Naturals, Crystal Ship Jewelry, Lang's Cookies, Nide Jardin, and several local artisans. Local portrait artist Cheri Tremain will be available for portraits. Aurora Downtown will sell downtown merchandise as well as mugs and buttons on the November dates for this year's Cocoa Crawl event held during First Fridays on Dec. 3.

Society 57 will feature Modest Coffee, Katic Breads, and their full menu inside the coffee shop. Admission is free. To find out more, visit auroradowntown.org.
