Celebrate National Moth Week at nighttime nature program July 20
Get out into the night to celebrate National Moth Week!
Join naturalists from the Forest Preserve District of Kane County for an evening program where you will learn about the unusual beauty, life cycles, and habitats of moths.
Then, participants will head into the field to observe some local species up close with the aid of various moth attractants.
Learn how you can become a real Citizen Scientist during National Moth Week by submitting moth observational data on iNaturalist -- an easy to use smartphone app.
Join the program on Tuesday, July 20, from 7:30-9 p.m. at Creek Bend Nature Center for the "Moth Mania" nature program.
Advance registration is required. Call (630) 444-3190 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
The registration fee is $2 per person.
Creek Bend Nature Center is located within LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve at 37W700 Dean St., St. Charles.
