Trail resurfacing project along the Fox River Trail in Elgin April 14-May 5

A trail resurfacing project is expected to begin Wednesday, April 14, through Wednesday, May 5, along the Fox River Trail.

Chicagoland Paving will be repairing and replacing culverts and resurfacing the asphalt trail, along the Fox River Trail, from Slade Avenue north to Route 90 in Elgin. There will be brief trail interruptions at times with the culvert replacements.

The Forest Preserve District of Kane County asks trail users to obey all signs and barricades, and to always use caution when traveling past trucks and equipment on the trail. Signs will be posted on the trail at both ends during the projects, to alert trail users.
