Mount Prospect library present virtual holiday entertainment for all ages

The Mount Prospect Library's annual Teddy Bear Walk celebrates 40 years as a holiday tradition with activities to enjoy from home and around town.

Take part in a scavenger hunt and search for Teddy bears in windows of businesses and homes throughout Mount Prospect in December. Teddy Bear Walk crafts-to-go kits are available starting Dec. 7.

Write a letter to Santa and submit to the library to receive a special message in return. Letters must be received by Dec. 15.

Learn details of Christmas and local traditions during "The History and Folklore of Santa Claus" on Monday, Dec. 7, and "Christmas at Marshall Field's with Leslie Goddard" on Thursday, Dec. 10.

Enjoy virtual entertainment with a reading of "The Essential Christmas Carol" Tuesday, Dec. 15, and a holiday concert, "Best of the Holidays with Golden West Pops," Sunday, Dec. 20.

Families can enjoy a game of Winter Bingo Wednesday, Dec. 9, while teens tap into their creative spirit during "Incredible Giftables" Thursday, Dec. 17.

Lastly, children are invited to ring in the new year during "Noon Year's Eve Party" Thursday, Dec. 31.
