Victory Centre of Vernon Hills Hires Executive Director Veronica Rudychev
Victory Centre of Vernon Hills senior living community, located at 97 W. Phillip Road, Vernon Hills, IL, welcomes Veronica Rudychev of Glendale, WI, as its new executive director.
Rudychev was previously the executive director of Heartis Village North Shore assisted living in Glendale, WI. She is a certified firefighter emergency medical technician (EMT), who volunteered with the Mequon Fire Department, where she was the city's assistant manager and then was an administrator for Cambridge, WI.
"Working as an EMT, I discovered that I loved interacting with and caring for older adults," Rudychev said. "At Victory Centre, where our residents are extremely engaged and interested in being involved, my role, along with the team, is to support them in their endeavors and guide them each along the path to whatever it is they want to experience and achieve."
Rudychev earned a master's degree in public administration and a bachelor's degree in political science and international studies with a minor in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She volunteers as a varsity dance coach for Nicolet High School.
